Hi I'm Iona ^_^ I'm 19 years old and I come from South East London . I first found out about Nightwish back in 2008 when my teacher put Nemo on in English class since then they have been my religion. I also follow Tarja as well, I don't believe in the whole Tarja Vs Anette thing, I thinks it just an excuse when a bunch of Anette haters PMS. So about myself...Um, I have a cat called Spike or his nickname Tubbeh-bubbeh, trust me if you saw him you wouldn't hate me for it, but I love him. Tuomas is part of my inspiration to music, I have always had music in my life, my mum listening to some kinda cool stuff, but Tuomas kinda pushed my music passion, Tarja is also a key factor in my love for music. So to summarize: Iona, 19, love Nightwish, has a fat cat . Have a nice day guys ^_^

Nightwish and Tarja are the two things I am crazy about! If there was a fire the three things I'd grab would be my Tarja album, my cat and my Nightwish poster . I think I have you on facebook? Maybe? A lot of the Islanders added me XD, it was awesome!

Hi I'm Jeanette, AKA NettyMoo and embarassing older than most of you guys on here. Until July 22nd this year Led Zeppelin were my all time favourite band. Then a friend showed me Dark Chest of Wonders on You Tube; within about 10 seconds I was covered in goose bumps and completely hooked. He then lent me EoE and I watched it over and over again - sadly my addiction to Nightwish and Tuomas has caused me and my 'friend' to fall out!!Such is life!! I've listened to NW exclusively, daily since July, bought all their CD's and DVD's, T-shirts etc etc, so despite only hearing of them for the first time 3 months back, I regard myself as just as big a fan as all you guys that have loved them for years. And I am really looking forward to seeing them live next year - hope to meet other Islanders too

Welcome Jeanette ;D it's nice hear from a more 'mature' fan like myself but hey music has no age limit well here we are all an amazingly friendly bunch so I hope you feel right at home and being obsessed with Nightwish and Tuomas is compulsory lol I hope to see you at a gig or Islanders meet-up soon.

I would just like to re-introduce myself...lol. I registered on here ages ago and posted a bit but then work seemed to take over my life and I found it too hard to come on and follow things and also missed the meet up in London which I really wanted to go to...still I'm fighting back against the rat-race now so hopefully I will be on here a bit more.

Hi everyone! I'm Andi and I'm from Kent. I joined the forum last week and posted a bit about my current project - Lightwish - the UK's best Nightwish tribute act, for whom I play drums. I first got into the band after my daughter got me to take her and some friends to see them at Hammersmith in in September 2005. I've always been into rock, having played in various bands most of my life from the age of 14, and also having been the drum roadie for classic NWOBHM band Angel Witch from 1979 to 1981! Totally hooked on Nightwish from that day on and I now have most of their songs permanently etched into my subconscious, after listening to them almost continuously in order to master Jukka's double bass drum technique! Looking forward to being able to perform the band's classic tracks for all you guys starting in the New Year. ;D

After much deliberation, it looks like we'll be adding "Storytime" to the setlist! Other possibilities include "I Want My Tears Back" and "Scaretale" which is my personal favourite!!

Well this is a bit embarrassing! I am Tori and I am the quiet member of admin . I am 29, a part time IT technician but mostly designer and illustrator from Exeter, Devon. I came to Nightwish only 4 years ago when a friend gave me a mixed album of music and there were 4 Nightwish tracks on there. Over the Hills, Nemo, Wishmaster and Gethsemane. Because it was so different to anything I'd listened to before and it fascinated me, slowly I was totally drawn in to the point where I had to go out and get all the albums that had been released. Nightwish's music helped me come through one of the darkest times of my life and it is still there beside me and will always be something special and important to me. I am so happy to be part of the fanclub revival and despite being less active on forums than my counterparts Alex and Carol, the fanclub is important to me and I am thrilled to see so much continuing support and love for such a fantastic band! I hope very much to meet some of you in future fan club meets . My highlight of being a fan of Nightwish over the last few years has to be that I've got to stroke Marco's beard! They are all great people. Tori xx
