I still haven't bought Delain tickets for the Cathouse. I really want them, they were awesome last year. I'm supposed to be buying Rolo Tomassi ones as well for the Stereo. I can't afford this lifestyle!

Im just home from London where I saw ReVamp and Epica again It was amazing, even better than the last time I saw them. Floor Jansen is such an amazing versatile singer. She went from opera to growls and back again! Epica, as usual were fantastic and such a fun live band who dont take things too seriously. Floor joined them on stage for Sancta Terra, which was beautiful. I was also delighted to see the return of The Imperial March and the disco version of The Phantom Agony to the set list.

I was at the Epica and Revamp gig in London as well and agree with Áine, both bands were superb. I hadn't seen Revamp before and was really impressed by them, especially Floor's vocals. I certainly wasn't expecting the death metal style growls from her. It was the third time I'd seen Epica and they've been brilliant each time. Can't wait to see them again in May

I can't afford this lifestyle! I'm in the same position as you. Charlotte wont be coming to Glasgow without seeing me though, I wont let this travesty occur! After all, she adored my flag last time . I went to the Sonata Arctica gig last night but didn't last long enough to actually see Sonata perform. I had an awesome night though, i found a new band that I love and shall follow: Triosphere, a female fronted power metal band from Norway. They were absolutely amazing, blew me away. The other support act, Labyrinth were good too but after their set my legs went into cramp and it was really uncomfortable, so I left.

Charlotte loved my banner at the last Islington gig...which she got at the end of the show. I have one from seeing them at Sonisphere...may take it to London too! Will have to check out Triosphere, they sound up my street!

I bought tickets to see The 69 Eyes Edit: Why I wrote Within Temptation I have no idea. Probably because I need to buy WT tickets.

Theatres des Vampires have asked me to help them organise a gig. It will be Friday 27th May, and we are trying to find a venue. Places we have considered are Bristol, Brighton and Newcastle... but anywhere that isn't too close to London or Birmingham is ok.

Thanks Nikki, but I have worked my magic... unbelievably quickly... I thought I would just be useless when they asked me... and a gig has all been arranged for Newcastle, confirmed this morning!! On this part of their tour they are only in the UK for 3 days, and they have 3 dates... but in my exclusive interview I did with Sonya she said they will be coming back later in the year... or next year... so it might be useful to contact her later on... but I will let you know at the time if I need to.

I went to Norway a few weeks ago to attend a Dimmu Borgir show billed as "Forces of the Northern Night", where they performed with a full orchestra and choir to an audience of 9,000 fans. It was epic! It was filmed for a DVD, which will undoubtedly be amazing. As with the Black Symphony show Within Temptation did, to hear the music performed live as it should be was something to behold. Interspersed with the usual setlist, the orchestra performed interludes of orchestral versions of Dimmu songs. It really showed what excellent composers they are.

This is an incredibly long shot, but is anyone going to Funeral for a Friend, The Joy Formidable, Roddy Woomble or St Vincent in Glasgow? I bought tickets to all 4 of them without finding someone to go with and I think I'll be going on my lonesome!

Tickets for Evanescence and Within Temptation in Berlin arrived the other day. I cannot wait Also got tickets for Dimmu Borgir's club shows in Belfast and Dublin. Should be interesting to see them in an intimate setting with only a few hundred people. November will be busy!
