Next month? Eh? I heard they're playing London in December and that hasn't even been announced yet, though tickets are on sale in some places. I'm confused.

I was never a big fan of Leave's Eyes, but I saw them support Kamelot a couple of years ago, and they were fantastic live...it certainly made me like them more!

What's with the TBA date? Wouldn't mind a wee Scottish gig.

They announced it, it's Margate West Coast Bar (23/09/12). Again, no Bristol date! Cardiff might be quite easy for me to get to but I've never been there and I don't think my Welsh friend likes the band so he probably wouldn't come with me *sob*

I'll be seeing Epica in Nottingham on 11th December, and I'd love to see Leaves' Eyes in September too, if I like the new album - only heard Vinland Saga and Lovelorn so far but I really like them both

Hannleigh 'Meredead' their latest album is also good and grows on you. Well I have just booked Epica VIP tickets and Leaves Eyes who are coming over with Firewind and next month and I hope to book Anneke Van Giersbergen (ex The Gathering) next payday as she was amazing supporting Within Temptation last year and it would be good to hear her live again.
here are her UK dates for those interested:
Sep 19th 2012 Borderline London Sep 20th 2012 Roadhouse Manchester Sep 21st 2012 Fibbers York Sep 22nd 2012 ABC2 Glasgow Sep 23rd 2012 Academy 3 Birmingham

Thanks, I'll try both those Leaves' Eyes albums, even though I'm not even sure how to pronounce Njord Mmm, I'd also really like to get tickets to see Anneke after seeing her supporting Within Temptation last year... So many good bands out there!

I agree, it's hard to choose but they all deserve support

Concerts so far this year seen: Pythia
Concert list so far for this year still to do (no in date order):
Leaves Eyes Lacuna Coil Epica (VIP tickets) Nightwish Manchester Nightwish Brixon and will prob book Anneke van Giersbergen soon as well
All we need now is Within Temptation to announce a UK gig later in the year and Indica. Also I would like Delain to come back seeing as I missed them in May and that would end a great yearly concert run!

This year I've seen...
Christina Perri Rachel Sermanni x4 Panic at the Disco Kina Grannis Mastodon (with Dillinger Escape Plan) Lights Gotye Emilie Autumn Laura Marling
Coming up I have
The Gaslight Anthem Muse The Civil Wars Nightwish The Rasmus Epica
Need to buy Frank Turner tickets once they go on sale, and I would rather like to get Kimbra tickets as well. All of these gigs are/were Glasgow dates, except Frank Turner which will be Edinburgh.
