Grrr my bosses are soo awful! Even from thier holiday in Spain they are still making me cross. Im working extra all week. this means lunch and dinner split shift. In total will amount to 13 days split in a row. with the tiny exception of Thursday evenings. ive never been able to work them and they know this. I was asked twice before they went away if i could do it and i said no sorry i cant. There are 3 girls to share the bar work between them. but only me in the kitchen. They phoned yesterday and a message was passed on to me. "So can Roz work thursay night or not?" - my answer no sorry. "well someones taken a booking, so can she?" -no. "she was waiting to hear about a babysitter" (lie) - No im not i said i couldn't do it "well theres no one else to cook, so will have to cancel booking!!! "%**£ moan moan moan" Eeerm excuse me? will i get a thanks for working almost 2 weeks? do they even care just how much trouble ive had trying to sort out babysitters? spend extra on petrol? No they dont care, just moan about me on the phone!

oh no that suck rozzy hope you get some rest soon. I had a mini rant at the receptionist for my drs today. they have an insane system that if you want to see a GP in less than 2-3 weeks you have to ring up at 8am. so of course if you do that the line is forever engaged. by the time you get through all the appointments have gone. i was angry because i work shifts so if i am awake at 8am then i am at work. if it is my day off i am catching up on my sleep from early starts/night shifts. today was the first day off i was awake at 7:30am and i had been trying to book appt. for last 2-3 weeks. eventually after explaining the situation i got an appt. for NEXT monday. grr.

It's the same system at my doctors nightingale. Yes very annoying! though i walking in with my daughter last week because she sliced open her knee, and i wasnt sure if she needed stiches. We went straight through to a nurse. It was quicker than booking an appointment. I think next time i need to go in, i might just turn up and ask to see someone.
