Just an idea. Feel free to make a Top 10 list or something.
For me it would be a toss-up between Skindred and Rammstein.
Skindred bring so much energy and diversity live. Rammstein are just Rammstein.
I would say Nightwish but I haven't seen them for years and I feel like I was just a kid when I saw them in Helsinki so I don't feel I can judge yet.

Nightwish are most definitely awesome, but I'm pretty sure the majority of people in this fan club would say that! So here's my top 10: 1. Nightwish (to be honest I got so excited when I saw them live they could have been awful and I wouldn't have noticed XD) 2. Within Temptation 3. Lacuna Coil 4. Amanda Palmer (her shows are hilarious and brilliant without fail, even for people who don't know her music. Last time she had Neil Gaiman and Tim Minchin doing songs!) 5. Epica (slightly let down by Simone's vocals and her just generally looking nervous) 6. Gojira 7. Metallica 8. Muse 9. Slipknot (I think any metal fan could have fun seeing Slipknot, even if you hate them ) 10. ReVamp (mostly because of how amazing Floor's live vocals are)

10 bands in alphabetical order as it's hard to rank them 1 to 10: The Clash (probably the best of the punk bands live) Epica Kingfisher Sky (I've seen them 10 times and know them well enough for them to say 'hello' and sing happy birthday to me from the stage so I'm a bit biased ) Lacuna Coil Nightwish Rammstein Rush Sonata Arctica (even though Tony does go on a bit at times) Thin Lizzy (with Phil Lynott although the current incarnation are pretty good) Within Temptation

Delain live are amazing. So much energy, and I find it a lot more accessible than Epica.

I'd love to see Delain! Unfortunately they never play anywhere near enough for me to get to without paying loads of money, and I don't know anyone else that really likes them.

Totally agree Caroline! I went to Reading not really liking MCR (digged them in my younger days) and in the end I think that was one of the best performances I've ever seen. And i think I nearly died when Brian May walked on.

Undoubtedly Jónsi from Sigur Rós on his solo tour. Was more than just a gig - it was a fully immersive artistic experience. The visuals were just as important as the music. Everyone was silent, listening to the most delicate and innocent music ever.
