what book or like me.. books are you reading at the moment?
I have 3 books on the go at the moment;
Mort by Terry Pratchett for some light entertainment
Innocent Traitor by Alison Weir is based on the life and times of Jane Grey who was a tudor noblewoman who became Queen for 9 days and was later beheaded by Queen Mary aka bloody Mary. It's rather interesting as it's all done like a diary done by the main character and those who would have been around her at the time like her father in law John Dudley who was Duke of Northumberland.
I'm also midway through The Other Bolyne girl which is ok.

I'm currently reading a book called Filthy English which is a history of swearing I recently read the 3 Steig Larsson books, Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Girl Who Played With Fire and Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. They're good, but I didn't think they were as good as some reviewers have said. The plots are too full of coincidences although some of the characters are well written.

I'm reading Necronomicon - The Best Weird Tales of H.P. Lovecraft. I have a short attention span so it'll no doubt take me a while

Im on the final book in Steig Larsson's Millennium Trilogy, The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest. The entire story of the trilogy is slowly coming together, but slow as it can be, it is a very good story.

I'm now on a fantasy book called The Redemption of Althalus by David & Leigh Eddings. It's about a thief who is hired to steal a book from a room in 'the house at the end of the world' there he finds something he didn't expect

Lovecraft is my favourite author. I nearly jamp off my seat when I read that! Aside from loving Lovecraft... I am making a start on Stephen King's Dark Tower series. SO far I am loving The Gunslinger.

Aside from loving Lovecraft... I am making a start on Stephen King's Dark Tower series. SO far I am loving The Gunslinger. I've read the first two of the Dark Tower... need to read the third one.. I thought Gunslinger was awesome, but the story really gets going in the second one!

I read The Gunslinger, but found it very slow going...I have much enjoyed King's other novels.
I'm reading Les Miserables at the moment, it's tough going but quite enjoyable...I do have a big stack of books to read. I used to read a lot of fantasy and horror but I'm trying to diversify at the moment.

Currently reading "Small Gods" by Sir Terry. I'm working through the whole Discworld series while picking up the odd other book to try and keep myself from overloading.

im up to date with a series of books by Jeaniene Frost. A night huntstress novel. They start with Half Way To The Grave. ive read 6 so far, i dont think the others havent been written yet. They are vampire books, but adult, with action and lust. (much, more exciting than Twilight!, or the vampire diarys) i hightly recomend them. x

I'm now close to finishing The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova...it is a really interesting take on the Dracula legend. It is in no way a rip off of Stoker's version, this is more of a modern historical search...well worth picking up!
