Yeah the stage door depend on how the band are feeling. There is no meet and greet before the performance this time (I had a winge on Islanders behalf). If the band are tired, or more commonly if the bus is due to depart, they make a b-line to the bus. Sometimes if in a good mood they stop. Myself and Alex were on the bus in Tampere and only Jukka stopped the rest went straight to bus and straight upstairs in hotel. It all depends how drained you are after a show.

Your gig tips thread?
I think its ok to wear a different bands T to a gig. The band cant see you, and as long as your there. why would they care.
I find it a sport to T-shirt spy at gigs while bored in the queue Have got talking to loads of ppl at gigs because of thier t shirts. Everyone there knows/likes the band you are going to see, so why not spread the word for other bands too.
Wearing my Islanders Tee was awesome at other gigs. Had loads off ppl checking out my Moomins. ;D

Is it okay to wear a Nightwish the Siren shirt to the birmingham concert? Or is it a social faux pas to wear a shirt from an older album? I was planning on doing this to the Lacuna Coil concert as well, but with a LC shirt obviously.

Personally I think it's definitely fine to wear old era t-shirts, plenty of people do it! The only thing that's slightly odd is the ones that actually have Tarja's face on, because it's a bit weird when you see people meeting the band in one of those. But I don't think anyone really minds.

Yeah I saw someone meeting the band with a Tarja solo career shirt on, I admit I cringed a bit

The best way to get round all these questions is just don't wear a band t-shirt to the gig

I have seen loads of ppl wearing band shirts other than the artist who's playing and it's not such a bad thing, I always smile when I see a Nightwish shirt or two at a gig and I try and speak to them.. it's a good icebreaker and having found out more about them.. I try to plug the fanclub like I did when chatting to a Nightwish fan at Leaves Eyes, it may or maynot work but at least it gets our name out there and ppl around can hear the convo and it's always nice to say hello to a new face.
