Oceanborn/Century Child seem to be fans favourite albums. Songs from them will go down well, but typically tricky songs. Yes no 10 million orchestral tracks but technically more a challenge when I've looked at them... but it's years and years since I've played

Hi again everyone, and apologies for the length of time between posts. The band has been going through some teething troubles, as well as having our keyboard player away since December, but things are now back up and running again! We had our first rehearsal since 10th December this week and have now officially added ‘Storytime’ and ‘She Is My Sin’ to the set list. We’ll be visiting the Soundstage studio in May, where we’ll get the live mix finalised with our sound engineer and then a full photo/video shoot to get our publicity material and website content sorted too. We’ll then be looking at our first gig! An idea that was floated was to see if you guys could suggest a venue for a fan club get together, where we would come and perform for free. Let me know what you think. Take care Andi

That sounds cool, but I don't know if we are going to do another get together before the gigs. If there is enough demand for it then I suppose we can arrange something

Here's hoping that's the case! As you can appreciate, we have a lot of gear to reproduce the sights and sounds of a Nightwish concert, so we'd need somewhere big enough to accomodate us; we're not talking Hammersmith Apollo but somewhere with a bar and bigger than the local pub! ;D As mentioned, entry would be free to all, with the idea being to generate as much feedback as possible from fans to get this ball rolling. Looking forward to any suggestions you guys may have. Take care, Andi

Hi once again. We have been looking in to possible venues for a first warm up gig to which we'd like to invite all Nightwish fan club members. I have a contact locally who has agreed to let us use his venue and I'd like to sound out how many fans would be up for it! The venue is the Red Lion in Gravesend, Kent - check out their Facebook page here en-gb.facebook.com/people/Redlion-Gravesend/627727432If anyone has any other venues they'd like to suggest, please let us know! We'll be getting the website up and running in May and there'll be lots more info on the band for you to check out. Take care, Andi

I'd like to come along but although I'm not too far from Gravesend, on the other side of the Thames, it's a pretty horrible drive for me.

Thanks for everyone who has left feedback so far. Pleae keep it coming! We've some more good news to impart! Our sound engineer is involved in organising a Glastonbury-esque rock festival this year and has asked us to play! More details as they are imparted to me, so watch this space. We've also had a new recording studio opened up by another friend, so a promotional video should be on the horizon in the next month. Take care and keep the comments/ideas coming! Cheers, Andi

I might be able to pop along from Bristol way, depends on the date, though. Summer get pretty busy! Sound's like a great project, though!

Hi again everyone! Had a brilliant rehearsal last night, and will be back at it again on Saturday. We now have our sound engineer and lighting technician on board full time, so will be doing our live video and photo shoot very very soon. We're aiming at going in to the recording studio in the next few weeks to record Nemo, Sleeping Sun and Storytime! One (or more) of these will be used to back the video shoot. The free warm up gig at the Red Lion in Gravesend should follow shortly after this, so I'll keep everyone up to date. Foreign contact has now been made, so our Intenational tour should start to take shape over the next few months - details as always as I get them. Take care and hope to meet some of you very soon!

We will be putting up the website and Facebook page as soon as we have the studio/photo/video stuff all done. I was tempted to put up a Facebook page, but there isn't really that much to put on it until the work is all done. Watch this space - shouldn't be long now! ;D
