That is great! There are loads of peacocks at my uni and I'm always waiting for one to display like that, but the one day they all started doing it I didn't have my camera I got one of a peacock tail once though:

Lovely pics there's a local peacock who lives in my village, no-one knows where he came from but he's often seen happily strolling down the street.

I love the colours in your photo Hapfairy, they are so clear and vibrant. On the topic of random peacocks, one randomly appeared in my parent's garden in Easter last year...

I see this topic has lay dormant for the last couple of months, so I thought I'd post this photo and the story behind it. So, over the last 6 months, my parents have commissioned me to prepare 2 calendars for Christmas, one specialising in Suffolk Churches, and the other in quite random nature scenes. I was out a couple of weekends ago, walking to a thatched church across the fields from my parent's house to take some photos. While I was walking it started raining hard for a good 30mins period, and I thought the light lost, because the cloud were low. I got to the church in question took my photos and headed home. As I did so, the whole sky opened up and the sunset came into full effect. I have seen some great sunsets in South America when I was younger, but this one I capture, and without any editing here is the best.

Can we start posting Halloween costume pics? I'm quite proud of mine this year, because I usually can't be bothered with it. Last year I went to my friend Ricky's house, took some of his clothes, and said I went as him for Halloween. The novelty wears off quite quickly. I took a little bit more time this year. Need to iron out the creases at the top of the mask but my Slenderman is look not too bad! Click for pic.
