So here goes for my first thread... I've posted this band in a couple of other forums and haven't really found many people who enjoy it back, so I won't really be surprised if I don't get much feedback from this but I really love this group. History (taken from Wiki)Faun is a German band formed in 2002 who play pagan folk, darkwave and medieval music. The originality of their music style is that they fall back to "old" instruments, and the singing is always the center of attention. The vocals are performed in a variety of languages, including German, Latin, Greek and Scandinavian languages. Their instrument include Celtic harp, Swedish nyckelharpa, hurdy gurdy, bagpipes, cittern, flutes and many others. Hymn To Pan Egil Saga I love their ambience and their instrumentation. I'm going to see them in March in Germany and I can't wait. Some other recommended songs are Sigurdlied, Adam Llay Ybouden, 2 Falken and Das Tor. www.faune.de/

I've listened to a couple of songs on their website and quite like what I've heard. Something a bit different and definitely worth investigating further.

Faun are friends with the Mediaeval Baebes. They performed on the Baebes album Illumination and may have done a few other things. I think Emily of Pythia may have recorded with them.
