Does anyone on the forum like this band?
I started listening to them when a friend sent me a link to 'Inis Mona', which I thought was fantastic. I then tried to listen to some more of their stuff but couldn't really get into it.
THEN they released their album 'Everything Remains as it Never Was' and what an album it is! It encompasses everything about my taste in music. It has awesome riffs, great instruments (hurdy-gurdy, tin flute, mandolin etc"), male growl vocals entwined with lovely soft female vocals (Anna <3). It's a fantastic album by a great band and I would urge you to check them out if you like bands such as Sirenia, After Forver and Delain (and would be interested in a folk metal twist on these ideals)
Check out 'Quoth the Raven' by them as it is a fantastic example of how their album is and is my favourite song from it.

I do like them but I haven't given the albums much chance yet as I always end up skipping the songs until I get to Omnos as I just love that song any suggestions for some of their best songs?

Omnos is a great song and Slania is a fantastic album. As for some recommendations, I'm really big on their latest album at the moment, so forgive me for recommending these from the same album... it's just that good. Quoth the Raven: Everything Remains as it Never Was: Sempiternal Embers: One more... Thousandfold: Just to get you started .

Love them muchly, one of my top favourite bands for sure. They got me into folk metal and I guess that's the main thing I'm into these days so much thankies to them! I've loved them to bits ever since I first heard Inis Mona back when Slania first came out, and they encouraged me to pick up the tin whistle which I've almost become famous for playing since I carry my whistles almost everywhere . A fond memory for me was when I saw them live, I was in the front row playing along on my whistles, and I remember playing the whistle solo from Inis Mona in unison with Chrigel whilst making eye contact with him the whole time, twas brilliant

I wasn't really into these guys until I heard Helvetios. Probably my favourite album of the year so far (I know it's only Feb but there's been a lot!). It's so diverse for a heavy record and I can't get enough of it.

I saw them when they toured with Epica recently. Completely bonkers and totally brilliant live.
